You want your kids to have fun while learning this summer? Have you been looking for the perfect place to have your children learn new things? Be very accessible and child friendly?
Always on the go? Always working on your laptop outside the office? Ever needed to share your laptop's internet to your phone, ipad, or other devices and forgot to bring the cords?
Yesterday, a techie friend of mine recommended to me a free software developed open source that could help solve your problems. Its called VIRTUAL ROUTER. And it turns your standard laptop to a router and lets other wifi users connect to the internet via your connection.
Security concerns? No worries. The virtual router includes the standard security like password protection for your Virtual Router connection.
The software was developed by Chris Pietschmann - Chris is a Microsoft MVP on the Windows Live Platform, a Co-Founder of Carto LLC.
Virtual router can be used with any Windows 7 or Windows 2008 R2 Computer.
So it's time to say goodbye to your wireless routers and hello Virtual Router!

So now, you have an idea of what kind of business you want. You have your business plan and everything. So, what's next?
You register your business.
You have 3 options
1. Sole proprietorship - meaning one owner
2. Partnership
3. Corporation
For Sole Proprietorship you first need to register with DTI.
Come up with your a couple of business names, and check with DTI for their availability. ( you can do that through their website at DTI.)
Once you get your business name approved that its available. You can either pay thru their website or directly to any of their offices.
Remember to choose your type - national, regional or barangay.
Once you get your DTI registration, proceed to the Barangay Hall for the area of where you're going to put your office.
Before applying for tthe Barangay permit you need to have a finalized contract of lease with your lessor since it will be needed for the following steps.
Once your done with your Barangay Permit, next step is the Mayors or Business Permit which you have to apply for from the Municipality or City your office is located. Dont forget to bring your DTI and Barangay permit when you go apply for your business permit.
For complete list of things needed - visit your Municipal Or City hall. ( it'll take a couple of days for the permit to get approved.)
Once you get your business license, you can now proceed to your local BIR office and apply for your TIN and your receipts. Be sure you know based on your business plan if you want to apply for non-vat or vat. ( To be sure - consult your accountant about the Pro's and Con's)
Again, it'll take a couple of days for your BIR permit to be approved and a couple of weeks for your receipts to be printed.
Once you've done that, you're ready to start!
For partnership and corporations -Business application is done through SEC.
Come on, really. Is Outsourcing new to business? How come there are a lot of fears about it? Outsourcing has been around for years and years.
Businesses have been outsourcing projects and workloads for a very long time. Here are some examples of outsourcing that has been around for a long time.
Janitorial or cleaning services. Marketing or Visual graphics Health services.
A lot of things have been outsourced to other specialty companies by other companies to save on their costs. Imagine, hiring an entire department of Doctors to manage your companies employees health benefits. Or hiring dozens of people for your Janitorial needs. A lot of business would probably close down in a few months especially the small to medium sized ones. The good thing about outsourcing is that companies get the benefits of the services that is being outsourced at less the cost in their budget. Being able to contract out for projects that are short term without bloating their headcount.
Outsourcing also saves companies in terms of training, since they are about to take advantage of contractors with very specialized skills needed for the specific project.
A lot of people ask me why i chose to work at home. How did i find a job like that? How do i work?Get paid?
For those of you out there that is thinking of working at home, let me discuss to you the advantages and disadvantages of working at home. Working at home may not be for everyone.
Here are some points for the advantages of working at home that others i have talked to along with myself have realized.
1. No Commute. As we know or have experienced. If you work at the typical office, you need to actually be in the office. Or in some cases as in sales, you need to be in the field. Working at home frees up at least 3 hours a day. That's the average time it takes for a person to dress up and travel to and from the office. That's three hours you can devote to other things like, sleeping, spending time with your family. FACEBOOK, household chores, or if your lucky a part time job.
2. No extra Expenses.( in some things.) You get to save cash.hard earned cash that you worked for. Why? no commute means you don't pay for fare. No expenses on keeping you office wardrobe updated. No eating out.
3. Less Stress. (some points are more applicable to women)
- choosing what to wear for the day
-traffic
-seeing your co workers
-seeing your boss
-being late and fined
4. Eating home cooked food. being able to eat what you want, when you want without being charged an arm and a leg to get it. And hopefully eating healthy foods.
5. Almost safe from external factors. (except of course for natural calamities)
- no worries on being kidnapped
-raped
-robbed
-car breaking down
-no color coding.
6. Spending quality family time with your Family and friends.

Do you live in Mandaluyong? Do you have children? You can now have your children study self defense in the newly opened Donnie Geisler Taekwondo Center in 500 Shaw Blvd. Mandaluyong City. Located in the 3rd floor of the 500 Shaw. Taekwondo originated in Korea. Taekwondo means "to strike or break with foot"; kwon (권, 拳) means "to strike or break with fist"; and do (도, 道) means "way", "method", or "path". Thus, taekwondo may be loosely translated as "the way of the hand and the foot."
Martial Arts is a great way for building discipline and exercise for the body.
Parents don't sweat, there's no need to worry. Coach Donnie is one of the best coaches I've seen in teaching children. He is very patient in coaching the kids and very hands on in every portion of the training.
